Phased array radar systems have become more popular in recent years thanks to their ability to alter the direction of a radar signal using multiple transmitters rather than physically moving an antenna.
Generating these signals is one of the most challenging tasks for a signal generator. Tektronix has put together a specific waveform creation plugin for current Arbitrary Waveform Generators that enables engineers to create RF environments for many applications that involve multiple emitters like phased array radar and other multi-emitter environments.
This webinar will explore how a commercial Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) can be used to easily create radar signals and emulate multi-emitter environments.

Product Line Applications Engineer, Tektronix
Andrew Cobas is a Tektronix Product Line Applications Engineer for Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWGs). Since joining Tektronix in 2018, he has spent most of his time supporting customers in using AWGs for various applications. Andrew earned both his BSE and MSE in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2016 and 2018, respectively. During his graduate studies he focused primarily on Analog IC design and RF engineering concepts.
