Robert Knake

Accreditation Manager

Robert Knake is currently an Accreditation Manager with the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), where he manages theday-to-day operations and staff of the Calibration program. He is also a staff trainer and conducts training internally of new staff and assessors aswell as externally at public training events for A2LA. Robert also serves as a Lead Management System Assessor and performs oversights of newand current assessors. Robert is an evaluator for the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation and the Inter American Accreditation Cooperation,performing peer evaluations of accreditation bodies to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17011. He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Management aswell as an A.E. in Chemical Engineering Technology from Michigan Technological University. Robert is also the President of the Board of Directorsof NCSL International.

Guy Robinson, ASQ-CQA

Metrologist and Territory Service Manager

Guy Robinson has over 35 years of electronics, semiconductor and metrology experience that includes a 15-year career in US Air Force ground RADAR and computer maintenance. He worked as an Operations Manager at Intel and has been a Quality Engineer, Lab Manager and Territory Manager at Tektronix. Guy is currently a Calibration Lab Territory Manager responsible for labs in Texas. During his time as a Quality Engineer, he was directly responsible for the initial accreditation, renewal and all quality aspects of up to 35 accredited laboratories world-wide. He has four
published papers on the auditing process through the National Society of Standards Laboratories International (NCSLI). Guy is also a Lead Assessor with the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and has assessed and assisted with the accreditation of calibration labs world-wide.
